I spent days reseaching this matter and chose the Tatou because they have the largest footprint, 1900 sq.in or 13.2 sq.ft, and the personal contact with the mfg was really good.
The tatou's are particularly good with Polaris AWD. The rear tracks have one less tooth on the drive sprocket than the front. This makes the rears turn slightly faster than the fronts. The AWD sensor thinks the backs are spinning and locks in the AWD making all four tracks locked in a true 4 Track drive.
Most of the mfgs make a good track though. The bottom of the list for me would be Mattracks be cause of their weight, complexity, and cost.
I'm a little leary about Can AM's Apaches and Polaris's Prospectors as their frames are some kind of high impact plastic. Tatou, TJD, and mattracks are metal.
All in all, most tracks are pretty darned good. I have not had 1 problem in the year that I've had them.
