Default Overheating

I had an issue with the quad overheating. The fan wasn't turning on. Went through wiring and fixed that issue. Now its overheating again. Even with the fan running continuous. If i run it down the field the heat light goes out. I don't think is the thermosat but will check that. How do I check the waterpump and how difficult is it to R & R?

Thanks
Jeff

Make sure your radiator is not filled with dried mud and gunk. Try clean it out with a hose if it is dirty.

I've done that. The pump seems to be working but I'm wondering if its not pumping enough at slow speeds

They seem to run a bit hot normally.

Pressure test the radiator. They're known for developing problems between the tank and the fin section.

Did you test the thermostat?, You remove it and put in a pan of water with a thermometer, should open at 175-180.I have one of these bikes , it doesnt run hot at all, fan hardly ever comes on, must have some blockage in radiator if t-stat is ok.
