Uh-Oh. Out yesterday, first I lost a CV Joint, I'm wondering what that's going to cost, and then the tranny messes up. I can switch from H to L no problem, but Neutral or reverse, no way. I pulled the cable off the side of the transmission to see if I could move the lever manually, no way. Anybody have any idea what that might be?

Probable internal trans damage if cant shift lever by hand. Cost depends on whether you or dealer does the repair! parts usually involve shift forks, slider gears, silent chain.Parts can be over couple hundred bucks, depending upon damage PLUS labor! Most shop labor between $65-$90 an hr! Depends on shop, but can be between 5-8 hrs usually. Can get by with just cv and boot kit or may need complete assembly? Cv about $180 I think plus about $30 on boot kit. Maybe other members have aftermarket sources on parts. Good luck. let us know

Thanks anyway!

Sector gear right behind small plate along with trans detent lever where shaft comes through case that belcrank is on. belcrank hooks to shifter cable.
