Which plow to get?
I am in the market for a snow plow for my SP 800. I went to my local Polaris dealer and they seemed VERY high priced at over $600. What is a reasonable price for a plow system? Which plow works best for residential use? I am not looking for a V plow, or a "county plow" wing style.... Just a straight blade. Also what size do you recommend?
Thanks

Which plow to get?
I love my Glacier plow and won't go back to anything like I had before it.
With my old plow I had to lay in the snow to put the pins in to hook the plow to the mount and lay in the snow again to take them back out. Then I had to be careful not to hit anything with the mount when I rode because it hung down so far. When winter was over I had to lay on the ground and unbolt six nuts from two bolts and sleeves and 2 U-bolts to take the mount off and get my ground clearance back. Then I had to lay on the ground again to bolt it back on for winter. When I tried riding with the mount on all year I ended up having to take it off to repair it anyway.
You only need to put the Glacier mount on once and can leave it there year round. You don't need to crawl around or lay on the ground to hook up the plow or unhook it.

I'm not that far from you. Maybe 2 hours or so. Is there any chance your guy could build me a plow? 350 is more in my price range, even with a little for gas money to come get it.

Thanks for the input.
