another carb question

Ok ill try that. Ihaven messed with the jets yet. Like i say its brand new from the factory so yeah maybe ill call around or sumthin.

if i read what you did with the needle right. (moving the clip up) you actually moved the needle down making it even leaner. also check for any air leaks in your carb boot like cracks or loose clamp

Yea no cracks in boot.I actually replaced that when i bought the carb weeks ago. Its really been kickin my *** cause i think i ve done sumthin till i get on an ride it an it stil F***S up........ Maybe i do need to change the jet.

if its doing it up to 1/4 throttle its not your main jet. figure out one problem before starting another. try adjusting you air fuel screw or changing the size of the pilot jet. also, did you do any air box/air filter mods? or just exhaust?

it has a K&N air filter in it. An the exhaust thats it. I just dont feel like drillin an screwin around in that carb cuz it was expensive. But if i gotta do it i gotta do it.

the drilling is no big deal really. just do it slowly so you can feal when its through the cap an not the screw lol. LRD has some specs on their site. i cant open the page caus i have a mac but check it out

Man thanx alot for that link. Dont know if it ll help or not seein that i dont kno that much bout it. OK quick question!!!!!! Which is the pilot jet an where can i find stuff like that for it?

you have to take the bowl off the bottom. the main jet will be in the middle (the big one the needle goes into) the pilot will be a smaller one on the intake side, i believe. they look like screws with tiny holes through them.

Ah ok. Yea i know the main jet an above that is the plug i gotta drill out. Thers a litle screw thats between them that kinda recessed. with a head for like a flat head screwdriver to turn> Would that be the one?

yes that should be it. and the plug is actually outside the bowl right?
