06' Hawkeye Airbox (takes on water)
#1
All -
My cousin's Hawkeye runs pretty good NO issues to
complain about except for this weekend when we went
riding and went through several mud holes only about
half the size up not over the airbox or snorkel. It keeps taking on
water and then will kunk out. After about the 3rd time of it
doing this and drying out the box and the filter, he removed
the airbox internal seal ring all wet and we rinsed-wrung it out and
flipped it, then it was okay. Seems like it could be a bad
Airbox seal ring that should make the box watertight
with the lid.
Any ideas?
