Help! 99 Scrambler 500 4x4
I need some Scrammy Pro's help!
My scrambler will idle nice and steady for about 3 minutes and then if begins to miss out in about 15 second intervals. After about 10 times missing out it finally dies. Usually it will start right back up.
When running it it will drive good and strong sometimes up to an hour and then all of a sudden again it starts missing out then dies. Then it will usually not start back up for 20min-xhrs. But always eventually starts back up.
I know that it is not getting too much fuel because it never leaks fuel out of the overflow.
Could this be a float adjustment, needle sticking, dirty air filter, water in my fuel? Or all of the above...
Please HELP!
NOTE: I took the bowl of the carb and cleaned the jets and the bowl out but, it could have gotten dirty again.
Also if I turn to sharp and pull my throttle cable it makes my quad rev up quite a bit...? I think the throttle cable needs replaced? Maybe this is part of my problem...

Ok guys, I checked the vent cable and it was completely clogged...
I think the air filter does need replaced... I will be doing this ASAP
Also the throttle cable was way too tight, that did fix my fast idle problem when I turned!
Thank you so much everybody, awesome site...Hopefully this fixed my problems I will go test today....!!!
