Wow I guess not many chain driven quads in the bunch (not that I blame you) but a chain breaker if you have drive problems along with a few extra master links!!!!

P.S.

A friend a long time ago whom was sponsored (heavily sponsored) admitted NOBODY can carry everything you need. So take they fun stuff first!

For the ATV trip (getting there by hauling your wheelers) for your pull behind trailer, don't forget your Trailer spare tire. That one is a MUST. Last year on top of the mountain, my good friend backed down my wifes bike (SP450) and as he came down he rolled the rear tire over his older trailer coupler/latch.
IT SNAPPED OFF! We thought we wered $CREWED. No way to get off of the mountain and get the bikes home. Thank God I come prepared with my tool bag with lots of hardware bolts/nuts and washers of all sizes half-inch and up. We were able to rig it with a long lag bolt through the eye of the coupler and compress the hex nut from the bottom that allowed the trailer to turn without popping.

We bought a replacement 2" hitch coupler for his trailer when we got back for $25 at a Tractor Supply store and fixed it. Not a easy task. BUT a huge lesson for those who trail to buy a spare coupler kit that could save your
bacon.

Regards,

R'

I did not say I take all that stuff with on every trip, as I said take your pick. The list was compiled from all of these "what do you carry" threads. I take these items when we ride up in the Sierras, last week we were riding at 9,500' in 6" of snow. It is good to be prepaired
I do take a spare tire, tool kit, extra gas, and I have put togather a survival kit I keep in a tote and bunge to the front rack, the kit has many of the items on my list. I keep the jack, tool kit and tow strap in the Polaris rear rack box, and the spare tire and gas can get straped to the rack I put in the 2" reciever, I found the greatest after market bolt on 2"receiver on Ebay. It bolts on just above the 1"1/4 factory reciver.
So take what you want, be safe and have fun.

I didn't include knife because I always have one with me. Been carrying a knife since 2nd grade. It's a tool for me. Of course, I get a good way into an airport and realize I have to go back to the truck, leave the knife and go back in again.
