Morning people, just browsing around and noticed the thread where everyone was posting parts numbers etc. SO I thought a thread where a list of what everyone packs when riding riding. It would be nice not to find out when you need it on the trail. Last ride, we were stuck needing benedryl in the middle of nowhere, we were lucky that some kind riders happened to stop.
Things I always carry, to start, everything is kept in GLAD ziplock bags, I use glad because of the double easy to seal locks,
Toolbag, basic tools, electrical tape, deep well sockets
Socks,2-3 pair
bread bags, when the boots are soaked, change socks, slip on the bread bags and then boots, nice to have dry feet
3-4 ponchos, I carry a rainsuit, but others sometimes have need
rainsuit
snacks
diet dew, never ever be caught without your diet dew
gas, always keep the can full
drive belt, just a fact of life when you drive a polaris
spark plugs
tow strap
towels, hand towels mostly, wally world shop rags work good
flat tire kit
cell phone
wet naps
water
extra gloves
shirts, 1-2
battery operated sawzall, mostly on the property, nice to be able to trim that tree or bush that whips you
well thats a start, I like to be prpared when on the longer trails and the polaris has plenty of space for storage
Things I also carry at times
I have a nice little propane grill, fits in a bag on the front, nice to stop and have a hot lunch on the trail
add to the list or just tell us what you carry

Diabetic medicine for one day, pruning saw for small trees, lighter, matches, compass, binoculars, maps, raincoat, riding gloves, extra work gloves, cargo nets, tree strap, ****** block, tow strap (used to tow a guy 2 miles down a mountain this past Saturday), snacks and drinks for a day, extra gas, first aid kit, drive belt, spark plug, torx drivers, hex drivers, sockets and ratchets, toilet paper, tire plug kit. Nicest thing about it is the box on the front can hold almost all of the above.

Great list guys, lol I forgot the most important one that I carry, the tp, I also carry at times a set of pruning shears. Don't know where I got these ones at, but I would never own another set unless they are gear driven like these, they'll take out a 2" branch with no problem, I've been looking for an army shovel to keep in the boxes also. Does anyone know if they make a gps unit that is for the trails, here in wisconsin? I have the Map bag, but that means I have to keep a set of reading glasses with me. Thanks for the great rsponses people. Some I'll use and maybe others will benifit. I know before I started riding a buddy told me to keep everything on plastic, that small tidbit of knowledge saved me from ruining much.
