What is a reasonable price for a 2000 Xplorer 400 4x4 still in the crate?

I'm looking to get rid of my 1997 Xpress 300 2x4 in trade for an Xplorer. What's your opinion's on this.

I'm not real sure but mine where 5300 a piece back in May of 2000. I'd guess somwhere between 4500 and 4800 would be a good deal.

It is my understanding that because of insurance and other liabiliteis that Polaris will not sell "in the crate", but maybe you can find someone that will sell to you.Good luck !!

Our local dealer is BLOWING out left over 2000 models, he has Xplorer 400 listed for $4499. Thats a great price, the down side is he is charging a little over $500 for freight & setup, OUCH!

I would like to know where you are snowshark. Dealers here only have xplorers a couple days before they are sold. Talked to one yesterday, they have 1 left and they won't put on the floor yet. He is keeping it till someone asks for it. He kind of wants it himself. They keep all the 500's on the floor hoping to sell them off. Xplorers are hard to come by here in Minnesota, in the places I have looked.
