The area above the winch, from the front is what I'm worried about. Branches that will fit through that grill are capable of piercing the radiator. Hopefully the radiator is far enough back to minimize that risk, but it's there. My 800 had a screen in addition to the grill.

you could always ziptie a smaller hole screen on the back side of it and paint it black so it doesnt show through

Yeah, that is pretty much what I have in mind. I'll make it look nice and clean, I just hope it doesn't cause it to overheat. Most likely won't,but you know. Then you have to think of warranty concerns..Polaris would certainly deny warranty coverage to anything that could be blamed on overheating. ect ect. I know it'a an easy fix, kind of sucks that I have to do that though, especially to a machine that cost this much, and from a company who did it right just last year. Some things got alot better and others worse.
If it was a 3K china bike I would gladly fix the weak points I could and go beat the tar out of it without complaining.

That is a very vulnerable spot for sticks, trees and other stuff to be stuck in there. The brushguard that lobodog3 is referring to may be the ticket to preventing some of this debris from being stuck in the radiator section.
