Cannot seperate Front A-arm from Ball joint
Hello all,
Well I split the inner CV boot on our 07 &00 Sportsman and the parts are sitting on the floor to repair the machine. The manual says to remove the nut and pull the arm away from the ball joint. Sounds simple except this thing will not seperate or even budge for that matter!!!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
thanks in advance!

Hey there,
Take a long pry bar between the a-arm to the frame where the skid plate is. Put pressure down on it and take a hammer and hit the a-arm where the stud goes thru the hole in a-arm. you are going to have to hit it hard. I just did it on my 07 800. Good luck

Thanks for all the help. I forgot about using a pickle fork (Ball joint seperator), but for under $75 I had the dealer take care of this for me. I had already made the appointment at 5:30pm Friday and needed to go get supplies at the dealer anyway. It's all fixed and I have a nice TCR front and rear Aluminum CV guard kit installed to make sure I do not have to deal with this again.
