Default possible spark plug question.... ??? need help

i have been having issues with my 99 polaris sport. at first it was just clicking when i tried cranking it. after checking everything out today i found out it was my solenoid wire from my starter to the solenoid. now it is turning over strong, but not cranking up. i pulled the spark plug off today and it was a little wet and all black because i don't know much about any of this i'm hoping you guys can help. today i did manage to crank it up once and it ran for a few minutes but i had to shake the atv when cranking.... just wondering if this has anything to do with my spark plug?

Mine wouldnt start but mine turned out to be flooded. Do you leave ur fuel on? Mine i turn the fuel on held it wide open and jsut cranked the starter. After about 20 seconds it fired and smoked like a beast but it ran good after that. I thought it was the spark plug too. Another thing to do is check for spark. I pull my plug out and leave it connected to the wire and set it on the exhaust and pull the pull start and it u see spark, obviously you have spark.
