Any XP owners with EPS?
#5
I think they anticipated releasing them sooner but i heard rumor there was a problem with a supplier of some parts for the EPS. Happens alot, the prototype part looks good then the supplier cheaps out on the production pieces and thanks to Polaris' quality control they rejected them. Not saying forsure that is what happened, but it makes sense as I have seen that happen with alot out-sourced parts.

I doubt we'll see any "in the wild" until mid winter.
As I understand it, one company makes the EPS units for all of the manufacturers. It is their design and product and they customize it a bit for each customer. Motion Research or something like that. If I remember right they have the patent on the technology. They're a supplier of various part and pieces for automotive and similar industries.

A reply on another forum equated the regular steering on the 850 they rode to be comparable to the EPS system on the Grizzly they rode with. I've only ridden mine on pavement, for a very short period and personally I don't see the need for it.
Take good care,
