stendori,

I've read many of your posts, and you are "extremely" helpful. Please don't give up on the site. Perhaps it is your PC, or internet provider. I don't have any trouble posting on this site. I have a good internet provider, and a "nasty" PC which seems to help.

stendori;
I only have a dial up connection and I am managing to make a few posts and replies! Check out how much memory you have on your PC and/or upgrade the darn thing!
From what I've seen you are a very valuable asset to the folks on here! Hang in there!

I'd bet its your provider, there are times in the middle of the day when everyone else is on that mine is slow, thats why I always get on early.

I have had no problems posting, have at times in the past but seemed to clear up maybe give it a few days. Would not want to lose a valuable asset to the community.

Please don't give up! I, as well as MANY others, enjoy reading your posts.

You are a HUGE asset to our Forum.

I'm on dial-up. (it don't get much slower than that boys!LOL)

I think it's all the damn blinking ads at the top that slow things WAY down for us dial-up folks. The ads keep flipping around changing while I'm on the same page so that must be using some juice on our computer slowing us down.

Wish they would eliminate them. Noone clicks on them anyways!

Please don't give up on this forum, you are too valuable an asset! If you are trying to post a long reply and afraid of it not working, highlight and "copy" the post, so if it doesn't work, you could always try again, and this time just hit "paste" instead of retyping the whole thing over. I believe you are right. Most sites assume everyone has some sort of High Speed Connection and put way too much animation on their sites. I live in the country and can't get DSL or cable so I am using a satellite system which works very well and has been very reliable. Though not quite as fast as either DSL or cable and is expensive, I cannot stand to use dial up any more.
