Default Front Hub Oil and 4WD question

I just got done changing the oil in my front hubs on a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500. It took approx. 2oz. of oil. Is that about right? And I'm in the process of bypassing my speedometer, to fix my 4wd. I know I remove a brown and white wire and ground them. but do I ground them together or seperate.
I searched these repairs and know the basics , but I still have questions. Thanks much.

Default Front Hub Oil and 4WD question

a very simple way to know how much oil to use in the front hubs is to fill them and then rotate the set screw 90 degrees and do it until the oil comes out when you rotate it... try not to over fill them or you stand a chance of blowing a back seal... this what told to do by the mechnic at my local shop... and make sure you polaris' oil... its a special synthetic... as for the wiring, sorry buddy i cant help you...i dont do wires...

well hope some of this is a help
good luck
