I have a 04 500 sp with the older style hubs on the front i notice a rattling type noise coming from the front end when bike is in motion anyone have any ideas what it could be?

 

Check strut plastic bushings at top for wear(have had some with broken/missing lower bushings and making noise over bumps) Check that have fluid in hubs and awd working,plus excess slack in propshaft and driveshaft u-joints? Process of elimination! Good luck

 

check bearings as well.
