I am new to this site so if anybody can help I would appreciate it. I can not find the restrictors on my 50 and 90 predators need to make them a little faster grand kids are getting trally good on them. please help!

 

If are 4-stoke engines,then limiters are on throttle,just a small screw with 8mm locknut,can adust out for more throttle and speed. 2-stroke models have limiter tabs on cdi that removes for full power.

 

If it is the Predator then it is the 2 stroke. Like Old Polaris tech said the limiter is a jumper on the CDI. Just loosen the 2 screws holding in the jumper and pull out the little metal tab. The CDI is located right under the handlebars under the plastic on the left side of the bike. It can be seen by looking under the front left fender, looking up.

 

it is a four stroke any suggestions?

 

Throttle adjust screw and locknut on fourstroke is the only limiter!!

 

What a bummer. I bought these bikes thinking i could fix them up so my grandkids could race. you hear stories about how great the 50 and 90 o7 predators. I actually have 2-50's and 1-90 I also have 04-500 predator 04-500 scrambler and 08 yz 450f. really sucks to know you cant fix up smaller bikes!!
cany afford to buy new bikes.
