Explorer 250 4x4 won't start
#1
Hey Gang,
Got a quick question but unfortunately, not tons of info yet. Looking at maybe buying an Explorer 250 4x4, however, the machine won't start. The owner says that he believes the problem is the diode. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined however, not sure what/where this part is located? Is this an expensive and or difficult fix? Anyone have and advice on this particular model wheeler? thank you again for any/all help

Only diodes I'm aware of are in reg/rectifier module(just for charging battery) Just check for fair amount of compression with pull start and make sure has spark, battery not need to check spark on the older models. If is the old 2000 explorer, good machine,BUT check out, could be buying his troubles! Good luck
