Well, the debate's over - I've ordered a brand new SP500HO. Hoping you folks can share any advice on maintenance and problem areas to look out for. I live in a mountainous, cold weather climate. Thanks.

Expect it to push water out of over flow for a little while. No problem though they all do it.Its just pushing air out of the cooling system, add antifreeze and go on.The little noise in the motor is natural, also nothing to worry about. My handle bars was loose from factory.Just thought you might want to know cause nobody told me of these things and they worried me when I first bought mine.Ive had My H.O. 2 months now and I like it better every time I go riding.

Hey Packrat,

I didn't think they had internet access in Grayson Kentucky.

I have an old Army Buddy from there, and he says he has to use the computer at the library. Just confirms my suspicion that he's too cheap to buy a computer. He's owed me twenty bucks for 15 years.

Norseman, first thing I would do is find someone like me with a SP335 and trade them even up. Think how good it will make you feel giving that person all that power that they should have purchased in the first place!
It would be so charitable and you might be able to deduct it.(see your tax advisor)
