Battery
#4
sounds like new battery time to me. these small batterys seem to open up inside and lose contact. since i do not use my quads in the winter i remove the batteries and once a month i charge them at 2 amps for about an hour. i found that if you let them go dead and leave them set,in the spring they will no longer take a charge. my wifes trailblazer is a 97 and still has the orignal battery and i just replaced the battery in my 96 xplorer last spring. today is charge day as i am leaving for FLA. for a month to go to the NASCAR races and i hope this winter weather is over when i get back.

Will the battery run the lights, or start the engine when disconnected from the charger?
If the battery is fully charged, the meter on the charger will read 0 Amps.
Is the battery holding voltage? About 12-13 volts is good.
Have you checked the electrolyte? Have you used a battery hydrometer?
