My new Xplorer 400 won't start below freezing temp. When I heat it up just a little bit, it starts right up. Being a two stroke it should start anytime. My dad's '94 400L 4x4 starts real easy no matter what. What could be wrong? Any info appreciated.
Thanks,

The choke is probbley not adjusted rich enough. Since its an 01 I would take it back and let the dealer fix it.

I agree. The choke cable likely has too much slack in it, so the choke doesn't go on all the way. If you do it yourself, just be sure not to get it too tight. If it is under warranty, have the dealer do it.
