Default cv boots for 500 ho

purchased new 500 sportsman ho 6 months ago and have had to replace all four of my cv boots. I have just over a hundred miles on my quad and only ride on gravel and dirt roads; no rough stuff. I also have boot guards on. any idea whats going on. I can't afford to keep replacing these as they are not a warranted part? thanks buckorion

Where they ripped? or just put on wrong? or some type of cheap aftermarket boot with there weird poor performing banding system.

one was ripped the others looked like they tore up from the bottom. they are the boots that came with the new machine. I complained to the dealership but was still told it was not covered by warranty.

Well if there ripped and tore they must of came in contact with something on the trail. Just super bad luck I quess.

Invest in these. http://www.savantmfg.com/StickStoppers.htm

Unlike stock quards they protect boots from the bottom ,rather than just the front alone.

Look inside the castings that the axle rides in, I found a couple of mine with a lip that was rubbing the boot, ground it down smooth and boots last alot longer.
