I owned a 6X6 a few years ago and it was a fun ride.

In fact, I could power-slide with it going down the hard-pack trails in the woods!!LOL

I sure did get a lot of second looks out on the trails...........and a bunch of thumbs-ups!

It BARELY fit on my snowmobile trailer (with the cover closed!).

Only thing I disliked was the chain drive which I pleasantly see has FINALLY been updated to SHAFT!

I may consider one again. Not sure. Does rip-up the lawn easily.

But Boy-O-BOY could that ANIMAL plow SNOW!

Did Popo add a fuel gauge to the 6X and park feature?

I don't have the liberty of traveling that fast in my area.......unless I drive down the paved street. (which is illegal of course) so I don't know what top speed is.

Sorry

More that I think about it, I don't think it would be SAFE to take the beast that fast!

The old Polaris Diesel was SLOW, the 6X has spirit! Does that make sence? LOL!

(Maybe if you want speed and utility, you should opt for the XP550 or 850.)

Lmfao ! If I want speed ill get an Arctic Cat ! The 6X is the only polaris products I'm interested in !

Nothing against polaris but they aint for me. They are the only ones who offer 6x6s ! Otherwise I'd go with another brand I've had great luck with cats and hondas .

I subscribe to ATVMagazine and I think that there is an ad towards the back for a kit to transform your 4X4 to a 6X6.

Maybe they offer a kit for your Rubi?

Just a thought!

BTW, what's so special about Arctic Cat ATV's? Almost every dealer aroud here that had them (which were not many) has droped them

I don't run there atvs. I run there sleds man ! I normally ride Honda motorcycles and arctic cat sleds ! As for an Atv I tried Honda first they were much cheaper than AC was ! I just like the look of the polaris 6x6 if it works out well I may buy more polaris products !

As for the cat atvs I would go with the 700 or the 1000 !

But I'm more of an AC sled man .

IIRC they made the 425 when the Magnum 425 was out. I saw a used 250 on here but never saw one in real life I think that was before my time riding ATVs. I think there was a 400 2-smoke like the old Sportsman 4x4 too.
