There are only 2 reasons I didn't buy them years ago. The tracks make the ATV too wide to ride down ORV trails that only allow a 50" width. And I can't ride it down all those nice wide snowmobile trails because it's not a snowmobile. If I could trail ride with tracks I'd get some.

For the price of some of those tracks, you could buy a good used snowmobile.

Thats what I use to think until I seen it go through the slushy lake. I get stuck with my sled so much in slush That I just have to avoid soom lakes due to it.

The Tracks look to handle the slush much better.

My friend has a 500 Foreman and is thinking of getting the tracks for ice fishing this winter, and we do some slushy lakes. Do you think his limited slip front end would cause trouble for him or does just 3 track pulling still have enough traction for the deep stuff?

The lakes get slushy but they still have 2-3 feet of solid ice under all that snow and slush.

Well, one things for sure, I wouldn't complain about the heat my sp800 puts out on the right side! It just might keep me warm after I bury the quad in the snow! LOL! Hey, maybe I can melt my way out!!!

Should pose no problem. If it was 6' and high altitude, maybe, but a lot of the tracked quads around here have 3wd and they do just fine.

Try posting this question on www.trackshare.com where you can get first hand experience with this question.

If you go to this site, pm HomeSkillet, he is on a honda. Does the lake slush thing with a load that you won't believe.

If you think that's bad, I rode a snowmobile down a river and water was coming up through the cracks making slush. It wasn't my stupid idea, I just followed everyone else because I didn't know how else to get where we were going.
