Default Overheating!!! Need Help Bad!!!

Since you got more fluid in has the light come on? Is the fan coming on when it gets hot now? If the light isn't coming,it isn't overheating and the fan is working on since you got more fluid in it I'd say you are good..just had an air pocket. Keep a check on the fluid level for a little while and add as needed. Sometimes it can take some time to work all the air out.

Well, I let it run for several minutes then the fan finally kicked on with no light!!!! It's kind of cool outside so I'll test it more tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
I couldn't run it too long, Carbon Monoxide.
Thanks guys.

Elevate your frount end (park on a hill) and let the machine warm up. Squeeze your coolant hoses coming from the engine. Top up your fluid via the radiator cap. Repeat several times. This will ensure you get all your air pockets out.

No, there's no movement even when you rev it.</end quote></div>

Keep in mind...that you will see no movement of the coolant until the thermostat opens at the set temp. Once that happens...then you should see the coolant moving through the radiator.

Hope this helps...and Good luck with it!

Default Overheating!!! Need Help Bad!!!

Just wanted to say thanks for the info on the air bubble in the radiator and the sensor.
I went on a ride this past weekend and never had a moments trouble.
I think I'll buy a spare sensor and a gallon of antifreeze to keep with me just in case this ever happens again.

Thanks again.
