Yea, I call the new 850 a V-Twin, even though it's not
a true "V" twin in a sense. Whatever the case, if Polaris would take that same engine, and downsize it to a 650-700, it would be an ideal bike for me.

I almost forgot the topic here about one's favorite Polaris!! LOL!

My favorite ATV to date is my X2. It's just so versitile with the little dump body that converts to a comfy seat. Sometimes I can bring THREE for a ride at one time! (yes, on a flat surface traveling slowly!LOL!)

I'm tempted to save-up for some tracks for winter deep snow riding. Someone here had a video of one and when the guy jumped-off the ATV into the snow he sunk up to his sholders!LOL!

Anyways, the X2 is my fav ride![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]........maybe Popo will add it to the XP line-up next year! Hint,hint!!

Haha.ya no one ever gives us any respect for what we ride.So what if it has to big bug eyes for head[img]i/expressions/light.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/light.gif[/img]s or that our machines are on the heavy side we still have 4x4(unless you have a sport)and so what if this is 15 year old teck we are using it works don't it?

 

It works and I love mine.

 

well i went a looked yesterday..and they have a deal on 2 500ho's and a trailor for $250 a month..dont sound bad 2 me $5100 for each machine and a big *** trailor..so i figured i would snorkle,lift,clutch,and 28's..void the warenty on 1 and keep the other 1 clean as a baby....my buddy had an older 700 i think it was like an 02-03... and another buddy had a 500 ho and ate him alive!!!! so i'm still undecided.....

I for one won't trash your Hawkeye that's for sure! I think it's a sweet quad. As a matter of fact, my sons lady friend has an 250 Cat. It goes "almost" anywhere we can go. However, the "almost" gets her in some bad situations (and keeps us from having more fun [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] ).

With that said, I've told her and my son that the new Hawkeye (I think the 400 HO) might be the perfect quad for her. If nothing else, at least it will have AWD.

Let me ask you a question if I may... How easy does it steer and handle? She is not that big, and my son doesn't want her to get something she can't handle.
