Red 2008 Sportsman 500 H.O. EFI with less than a mile on it.
Polaris 2,500 pound winch, 52" Glaicer 1 plow, deluxe front brushguard and rear bumper,
Lock & Ride backrest, thumbwarmer, Garmin GPS 12 in RAM mount, Moose 3-way hitch.
How do you need GPS if you only ride half a mile?

It's simple. I drink too much.
I didn't get a chance to use the GPS on this one yet. Actually, the day I got it I only rode it 10 feet because it was 2 feet away from my 8 foot trailer. I just got it this month and when I picked it up I went straight from the dealer up north where the trails are. I TRIED going for a ride but my trailer tire blew out before I got there and ruined my trip. Deer season started a few days later and I can't ride without risking a ticket. Or a fatal gunshot wound. I went back and forth in my driveway a few times but it wasn't a miles worth. Next week I can FINALLY ride it and the trails are open 24/7 for 50 weeks straight. I'll have more than a mile on it pretty soon.
I needed to use my GPS several times to get to our 3,000+ miles of trail. I usually do about 1,000 miles a year, mostly without the GPS because I go to the same 10 or 12 trails most of the time instead of riding the 30+ others. My friends aren't too adventurous and want to go the same places all the time so I don't use the GPS for those rides.

Merry Christmas Rancher55. I've never been to Idaho but I've seen pictures and WOW am I jealous. Same thing for a couple other western states. I guess there aren't enough people out there to screw everything up, so nature's beauty still shows.

Merry Christmas to you too jumbofrank!
I've never been back there around the Great Lakes either! I'm sure both areas have their advantages. One thing about it though is that wherever you live you have to watch out for the idiots!(lol) This country seems to be full of them!!
Everyday that I show up to work I think I'm probably one of them! lol
Take care!
