Ok so i posted a few months ago with a no starting issue and found out that i had almost no compression so i rebuilt the top end and it ran great until i took it out on some trails and got some mud and water into the carb(one of the clips missing of the airbox and a rip in the carb inlet boot) So now i just funished cleaning the carb and it will start and then if you let it sit for about 15 minutes it wont want to start again. Anybody got any ideas?

take the carb off and set it on a flat table upside down. take the bowl off the carb and look at the brass float. should be parallel with the carb body maybe slightly pointing up away from the carb. if its not set right bend the tab that makes contact with the float needle.

So, If the oil injection wasnt working, would the quad still run? We took it out riding this sunday but the whole time we were out there(good 4-5 hours) Me or my riding buddies didnt notice any smoke coming out of the muffler. Two strokes are supposed to smoke right?

no smokey in exhaust:
1. too little oil
2. just the right amount of oil
3. smokeless 2 cycle oil used
the easiest way to check the oil injector is the take the small tube loose from the motor and runs from the top of the pump to just below the intake boot on the cylinder. empty the fuel system and put some 40:1 premix in it. start the motor and rev it just slightly. there should be a drop of oil come out of the little tube every few seconds. to recalibrate it, there is a mark on the injector body and a mark on the part the cable connects to. those two marks should be lined up when the bike is just at idle. the cable should move with the slighest pressure on the throttle
