Carb help

dont have a clue but you wont be able to use the screw as the chaser, its made out of brass. the carb body is aluminum which is harder. the brass will try to match the same threads taht the carb body has.
you might try taking your new screw to a *good* hardware store to see if they have a tap or can get a tap. fastenal would probably be my first pick on something like that. they might ever have a grade 5 or grade 8 bolt that you could straighten the threads with. the only worry with that hole is there is an o-ring seat in the bottom. if it gets messed up you will never be able to set the air:fuel ratio right because it will fluctuate.

Great! You did good, there aren't too many people out there that can drill out a frozen adustment screw out of a carb, and save it. That takes some patience and skill to drill it close enough to pick out the threads.
Let us know how it goes.

Just got home a little while ago, hooked up the battery and it fired right up. I let it warm up and then did a quick full throttle run and it seems to run good. I'll know more tomorrow when i can actually drive it around for a little while.
