Sheepdog-the line in your sig makes since to me now,I wasn't sure what you were getting at,but had my own ideas about what it meant...I did a few years as a Police Officer. I got into Swat,Street crimes ect. My main focus was drug interdiction. And intend to take it up again when I retire from the Corps. It is my true passion as far as careers go..but hey sometimes we need a change to realize these things.
Anyway, I salute you..the Marine Corps is cake compared to what alot LEOs face everyday. Nothing against my brother Marines,I'm proud of them..but we only face combat for a few months at a time. Alot of LEOs face it everyday..year in and year out.
My wife was honestly relieved when I joined..at 28,lol. Boy do I miss it!!

No, that was cleveland engine plant. We did not make 351s. We did make 429s and 460s and the blue max, we also made boat racing engines at one time. We made 2.3L and the 2.5L and the 3.0L and the 300 c.i. and the 200c.i. Those last two go way back. We made the retro 2002-2005 Tbird and Lincoln LS 3.8/3.9 motor(all aluminum) and now feature the 3.5L The plant is one of the top 3 quality of all high volume engine plants. It usually ranks #1 or #2.
I guess scrambler we don't live too awful far away if you know where that plant is? I usually go over to the Auburn car auctions.</end quote></div>

Me;
45 years old, very happily married to a better-than-I-deserve wife. 2 young men, 17 and 15 1/2.
Was a carpenter, home builder, renovator, etc. until I helped a friend move on a cold February night where melt water was dripping on the stairs during the day. Zoom, slip, ouch, hurts when you are my size. Ruptured disk.
Riding ATVs, hunting, fishing, outdoors stuff. Limited now, but still like them.</end quote></div>
Yea Moose I'm sure that my boys (the Danes) would love a little "cat chow" lol!, but my wife won't have any of that!

Hey, wait a minute there... It's been a long time for me, but if I remember correctly, two tours in Nam wasn't exactly what I would call a piece of cake! LOL LOL
However, I agree being a police officer in any decent size city is a tough and dangerous job (except where I live... it's a piece of cake LOL). Seriously, a tip of my hat to all those that have chosen to take on any job in law enforcement.
EDIT: As a matter of fact, a tip of my hat to anyone who get's their butt out of bed everyday to go to work... day in, and day out, and provide for their families.

Sixty-one years of age.
Retired: Lead Unit Supervisor, State Parole
Married: Forty years
Children: Three
Hobbies/Interests: Harleys, ATV/RUV, Forestry, Wildlife and Conservation, Shooting, Deer Hunting, Camping, Reading, Computers, Farming, Politics and History; probably left a couple out.
I derive the greatest pleasure from my wife, children and grandchildren. I quit drinking over twenty-five years ago when it stopped being fun, but do not object to others doing so.

May as well throw myself in:
44 years young
Self employed contractor, kinda slow for business now.
3 kid's, 2 in college Go Delaware and Penn State, youngest is sophomore in HS.
Great wife, best thing that's ever happened to me, without her I would not be able to afford my 1 true hobby and that's ATV'S.
Thank's to everyone on this forum who has helped me become more knowlegable about this great sport. I love the outdoor's, even when it's cold.
