Well I'm 28 and live in Soutwestern Pennsylvania about 35 miles south of Pittsburgh. GO STEELERS!! Bought my first quad at 18 when I finally got a real job and could afford it. Parents couldnt afford one so you kids better appreciate it when mommy and daddy buy you a knew one and fix it all the time for ya... Anyway, I'm a service tech for the local cable/phone company. Actually love the job just hate the customers.(not all just most). Cant wait til I'm just working on the lines and not going in houses anymore. My wife of 4 months never rode until we got together 4 1/2 years ago and now she loves it as much as me. I recently handed down my Sportsman 500 to her and got myself an 800. Love it! We ride when we can and I take our dog with us most of the time. She's just like us and loves to ride too, sometimes we'll get back and she won't get off the bike. Have to go drag her off. I enjoy riding, hunting, fishing, and canoeing, and the POLARIS FORUM Anyway short of an autobiography thats us....

Hey, one of the old guys at 58 and PROUD of it, not everybody makes it that far. I'm semi-retired, like to also ride my WING, shoot bow and target shoot guns for fun. I have many many hobbies and interests, children grown up. I have lived in quite a few states, and visited many others, but currently don't travel much. Like a couple others have stated, don't care much for the taste of beer, but don't hold that against me please. Also like one of the other guys I retired from Ford.

Lima engine, I was an electrician...so we are neighbors. I only had 31 years in and got laid off so many times I was poor all my life and still am. I hope Ford can survive. Were you hourly or salary? For a while I worked in the head line and probably did machining on stock that came from Cleveland. I knew the Rep from Cleveland casting as well, he just died this past summer.

Is this the same ford plant that made the legendary 351 Cleveland engine????

No, that was cleveland engine plant. We did not make 351s. We did make 429s and 460s and the blue max, we also made boat racing engines at one time. We made 2.3L and the 2.5L and the 3.0L and the 300 c.i. and the 200c.i. Those last two go way back. We made the retro 2002-2005 Tbird and Lincoln LS 3.8/3.9 motor(all aluminum) and now feature the 3.5L The plant is one of the top 3 quality of all high volume engine plants. It usually ranks #1 or #2.
I guess scrambler we don't live too awful far away if you know where that plant is? I usually go over to the Auburn car auctions.

yes we made the Cleveland 351..The last 15 years I was an international rep for sourcing..When I retired we were working on the new 6.2 Boss motor..this will be coming in 2010..should be 380-410 horsepower..We lost a few rep's recently..Starcher-Malone-Pervan-Bruce-peterson-Hendricks..which one did you know???

This one was retired. He was the Cleveland foundry rep for Lima and lived here pretty much all his life, Bob Starr. Know him? He had the first 2002 Tbird in Lima. A red bird. Good guy too and ran a florist shop on the side.
Hey, wanna apologize, did not want to hijack a good thread, cmon some of you other guys out there respond too...
