Default X2 bumpers and Light Kits

Sportsman worklight kit #2876090.
It has been discussed how ridiculous it is that they put the sockets and the wiring in for the work lights but do not finish the install on a $7000plus machine, when it costs $22 to finish the job

I can tell you this about the ATV GURU bumpers. They are made with a lot more attention to quality then any bumper I have seen. John and Paul take personal pride in every bumper they produce. No mass production in their shop. I am in a position that I can stop by their shop on my way home from work and shoot the bull. His bumpers are the only ones that will ever be on either of my machines. Go to his site and check out the new XT bumper.

Everything for the worklights is factory installed - except the bulbs and a switch.

The switch you can get from Quadovator is identical to the OEM except the markings say on/off vice a graphic. Note that if you get the LIGHTED switch from Quadovator you need to connect a wire to ground to get the LED to work. This is pretty simple as the kit contains the wire for the switch - you just need to "tap" into the brown wire (ground) going to the cigarette lighter (acc power).

I pull downed trees just fine with my X2. I bought the insert for the trail hitch and installed a 2" ball. I loop a rope around the ball and I'm set to go! It's that simple.

I would not tow from the optional rear bumper. Not solid enough imo.

I agree with MTPockets, on my X2 I have a 1 inch receiver hitch. I put a 2 inch ball on it and pull my 20 Grady White around. I have pulled trees, boats, bushes, whatever. Just hook up to the hitch.
