Work great in snow so far but its just light fuzzy stuff that you can dig right through. Hoping to go up in the hills this weekend and try them out in some deeper stuff!</end quote></div>

WOLF1,

Nice setup! What size are the front and rear tires? What size wheels? Also...did this setup fit without any mods? Any rubbing?

Thanks,
biz

For sure, that Stealth color is sweet... especially with those machined/black wheels. Black wheels would go great on that quad too.

How's it running for ya WOLF1... did they get it fixed right this time?

Nice real nice! I like it! I am thinking too, that it would be good for mostly
95% of my trails. But WE NEED a report on MUD please compared to the
STOCKERS! Someone out there must know!

Can ya get'em in 27"?

Regards,

R'

Just looking at them compared to the stock tires they look alot better. The tread depth is almost double of stock and the footprint is much wider.

I chose TC's over the bighorns for a couple of reasons:

1. Bighorns provide very little traction on hard pack snow/ice and dirt/rock.I believe it is because of their hard rubber compound and small contact patch.

2. The TC's are supposed to be lighter and the xd version is supposed to be very tough.

3. The TC's are smoother on hard surfaces (road).

I had the TC/Xd's on my 500.I loved them. The only thing I didn't like was the cost and that they run small.I'm wondering if the BH 2's would be better than the original horns in the reasons you gave.

I wondered that too. But wasn't sure how tough they would be, I ride in alot of rocky areas and puncture resistance is important to me. The BH2 looked appealing, just couldn't find much review info and had no experience with them.

triplggg,

For sure, keep us posted. I'm extremely interested in the Bighorn 2.0's.

I would like to know also. Are you mounting them on stock rims or not?
