Default hockey puck lift spacer

Finaly i made it for my wife X2 500. You have to buy 2 hochey puck 1$ each, washer from POLARIS 2 $ each. 6$ totals..made a HUGE difference / \ for the camber and the front lift 1 inchs so... I could tell 1 inchs=1 puck. If I compare my X2 500 with the 700/800 spring up front.....my wife X2 ride as smooth as before and the front as more ground clearance.....it worth the effort.

You have to take a holesaw 2 inchs diameter, make some hole in the puck, cut some plumbing tube, two pieces about 1.25 inchs lenght, made a slit to it and that's it......READY to put on strut. ENJOY...

Now thats some redneck engineering!! I love it!! I'm saving this thread cause I may try this in the future. Keep us up to date to see if it holds up long. I have a feeling it's going to. Good pics and how to.

The preparation take about half and hour....very easy. The entire job take alround and hour and a half.

First....I have to take the front rack/space box off ( 2 screw each side + 4 inside the box + 4 bolts ). Second....I stap the coil with 2 binders ( very easy job ) . Third....unbolt the upper part of the strut. Four remove the coil and you're ready to put your spacer....Five reinstall....

Had done that when I put 27" mudlites on my 500, really helped with the rubbing.

You also need to put the same amount of spacer under the shocks in the strut housing cause you need to lift the shocks the same so they dont top out sooner at full drop, can probably use the pieces you cut with the hole saw, or buy a couple more pucks and a different saw.
