Default 325 sportsman question

I just bought a 1999 325 sportman and noticed it has different diameter tires from front to back. 23-7-10, 24-11-10 Is this normal? can I put same size diameter tires on the front? any input is appreciated

Normal. Rear tires are wider on all Sportsmans.

I take it back, the diameter is normally the same. The width is different from fromt to back.

thats how all my others are, same size. Should I make these all the same size also? Is there a particular reason why polaris used these tire sizes?

My Father-In-Law has a 335 SP about that old, and I think it has different diameter tires front to back. At least it looks like it does.... It is 4 hours away so I can't run out to look at it.
