Hi Guys
Picked up a used 2002 400 sportsman with 850 miles on it, in very nice condition, took it for a little run Sat and I find its loud compared to friends Honda & Arctic cat 4 strokes. Thinking of getting a Benz quiet muffler any pro's and con's on these mufflers. I am not a speed deamon so a little loss in power doesn't concern me, but I worried it might cause other problems ?
Nead a new Battery it has original and won't hold charge any suggestions type to buy ?

Hmm, I had the Kolping Stealth exhaust and really I don't think it really
quited down the noise level for the price justification. After all of that,
these Sportsmans trannys area abit noisy, so its all preference, not
to cast negtivity here, but just wanted to give some other thoughts, can't
speak of the BENZ brand. I think I rather put that money to some other
accessories for my ATV or hunting gear! -IMO

I havn't heard of any negative effects. Here's a vid to show how much it quiets a 800 down if interested.

Nice video Sheep! I like his proof in the pudding videos. The only thing though speaking
from exp. is once you start driving it and revving, going LOW gear when driving slower through
wooded trails, its the machine noise (tranny et al) that can overshadow the quieter exhaust.

So eventhough it is quieter it doesn't quiet the entire machine, but hey I guess every little bit helps!
