Default Trail Blazer Potential?

What exactly can be done to this quad. I would like to know its potential. Aaeen website or what ever claims like 40 hp with a stage 3 kit. Not sure how a pipe, a carb and porting the head will make it go from 22 hp to 40. But who knows lol Also as far as jumping it? Can it be built to take abuse? If so what kind of mods can i do to build it up. I figure on since I already got it i might as well turn it into a little project bike.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

you have to ralize you have a GENII Trailblazer and hop ups are not that plentiful.Ritter would be your best bet on a pipe and clutch kit.But before dumping $$$$ into mods you need to get EVERYTHING else up to new standards.Like brakes, tie rod ende, ball joints, swingarm bushings, rear axle bearings, steering opst bushing..I am sure these are all wore or shot on a 96 model.
If you just want some more snap out of it put in a Polaris white or green primary spring

You don't need a reed conversion to play with a 400ex. Port, pipe, and clutching and away you go. Doc

Put it this way. The Predator 500 stock has 42hp, With the aaen stage iv kit, the Trailblazer 250 gets 42HP.

You are looking at roughly $500for a pipe, silencer, clutch kit.(best bet is Ritters Stage1kit)it is in the $300 and porting will run you close to $200 or a little more.+ rings and gasket kit.I wouldnt mess with porting until it is time for a top end.
