Default Still waiting for my 850XP!

Hello,

As many of you know, I've ordered a brand new 2009 Polaris Sportsman 850XP finished in Sagebrush Green.

Yesterday I was told by the dealer that the machine is about to be loaded on the truck from Minnesota to New Hampshire. So basically, I'm concerned that I will not be taking delivery before 12/31. However, the paperwork is all don, and I have a copy of the bill of sale. Can I submit this to Polaris for the extended warranty?

Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

I would hope that if all the paper work was completed prior then they should honor it.......

I believe the machine has to be REGISTERED by 12/31 for the camping world warranty. The warranty from polaris goes untill 1/30. But you had to own a previous sportsman for the polaris warranty.

This is for the camping world warranty. I hope the dealer can do something for me becauase I could have easily purchased this machine somewhere else a long time ago.

Do you think the dealer knows the vin number? If so im sure they could just register it a few days early. It is worth a try.

If I were you, and they promised it would be in before the 31st,I'd be asking them to buy me a 2 yr ESC and if they won't I'd be hitting another dealer before the 31st....

I'm a little confused, when you mean register, is that registering the ATV with the state, or Polaris?

Believe me, if I'm unable to get this extended contract due to the machine not being here in time, SOMEONE will be paying for this ESC and it will not be me.

Registered with Polaris, the dealer takes care of it. Mine did it before I ever left the dealership.
