hey from fl,
I was shopping around the internet for utv and atv's just doing nothing in paticular.
When I came across a 2007 utv listed for $2,800.00 usd. the info stated that owner was overseas and that the deal was to be conducted by european escrow.
I asked if I drove to there location with money order could I just load up and roll home but havent recieved e-mail back as of yet.
do you guys or girls think this is a scam or
what.Just wondering cause you hear of these things happening and I am interested if any one has a story to share with us.I'm not going to do anything till I feel good about the transaction and hey my kids would love to take a road trip and pick up a new bike for the family.
P.S. how much do you think it would cost to send a utv from tx to fl by 5 day air or am I the only one seeing that
see ya from fl

below is the e-mail I recieved last from this person

Hello,
Thank you for contacted me.The ATV is in perfect condition,it was never been involved in an accident or something like that.
I am the only ovner of this ATV and the engine works perfectly. My price is the best you could get: 2800 USD, including the shipping and insurance taxes. As delivery service we use UPS 5 days air service (with insurance and 30 days return policy). To be 100% protected we will make this deal with support of Escrow Europe.

If that's NOT a scam, then I'm a millionaire... as soon as I give my bank account number to some guy in Nigeria.

Don't do it man! Your gut is following you right. And good on JF for mentioning Nigeria, that place is
notorious for cooking up scams like this. I do some security work and I can tell ya, your gut is right!
If it isn't a scam then its probably stolen. Would you want stolen goods even if a good price? Well don't
get ole JF started on that one, but I wouldn't buy into it. Theres plenty of places now selling used for
great prices b/c of the economy. And not to solicit b/c I can't as a forum member, I will be selling my
wifes quad soon, you can PM if interested in what you are looking for Make and Model and year.

I was informed that a PA dealer is trying to move out the 08 Sportsmans like $2k less what I paid for mine
last year. New with a warrenty. I can give that info. as well!

Regards,

R'
