Default Plow on sp800x2 w/ polaris front brushguard installed

I have a 800x2 w/ polaris front brushguard. Looking to get a plow, probabally a Glacier setup. Will the winch cable rub on the brushguard when hooked to the plow? I cant tell if the angle of the cable will clear the brushguard.
Thanks for any advice

if you get a glacier setup you should be ok...i however was not with my older plow setup and had to fab up a roller fairlead mounted to the brushguard

I have a Warn plow, and my rope does rub, but I put a piece of 2" pipe over the bar, so it's nice and smooth to glide across vs. The rough paint

Did you use pvc? Did you cut the pipe so it slips over the tube, or did you disassemble the brushguard to get the pipe on?
Thanks

I have an 800 X2 with the Poalris brush guard and Glacier 1 plow - no clearance problems with winch cable.

I used abs, only because it was black, I cut it in half and siliconed it on

I'm sure that works fine but years ago when I did that I got a piece of pvc or whatever you wanna use with the inside diameter the same as the outside diameter of the crossbar on the brush guard...I then cut it to length and run it thru the table saw cutting it lengthwise twice just to take out a piece big enough so you just push the pipe against the front of the crossbar and it will snap on so you don't have to have it there all the time..You wanna cut out a little less than 50% obviously...Good luck....

i dont have one myself but it seems to be depending on where the mounting bracket for the lifting cable is located (far enough out) wheather it will rub or not. sounds like these guys have good ideas and maybe you can even rig it so it hooks further out on the plow?? just an idea.

The Polaris accessories are all made to work together. I think the problem is when you mix and match thngs that aren't designed to work with each other.
