Just thinkin... Last week I took the starter out. Dissassembled it, cleaned it up. And put it all back together. Bendix seemed to be working alright. When i hit the button to start it just groanns, turns slowly and doesnt wanna kick out the bendix. And sometimes You just here the solenoid click and the starter does nothing... I made sure my battery was at 12.5 volts... Any Ideas? I gotta get this thing running again lol Been spending so much time trying to fix the recoil starter. But it seems like that needs a rebuild kit too.

 

did you make sure the brushes were moving freely? the start on mine is doing that right now and i guarantee it hasnt been used more than 100 times
