has any one out there that owns a 2001 500 scrambler tried any aftermarket pipes that will give better than stock mid-range and top end scrambler stock express 300 epi clutching RCR pipe air box mods wisco piston

 

i got a 99 which is the same and ive had an hsp and an hpd and i liked the hpd alot better. Dont forget about clutching i have also had an hsp clutrch kit and an aaen roller and i like the roller alot better if you have more questions ask

 

why? did you do clutch mods when it already has clutch mods done and carb and cam mods done at factory also with the pipe mods you spoke of did the jetting come with it

Did you do anything to the clutch? or just put a pipe on you SC? I have a 00 SC500 4x4, and wanting to do some mods, just can't deside which way to go. Oh and your new pipe, did you just put a silencer on or did you get the header pipe also. Just curious

 

Does the white brothers silencer make the quad louder or just a different sound? I am thinking about getting one myself.

YOU TOOK THE WORDS FROM MY MOUTH ON THE SOUND OF THAT SILENCER IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE NEW 400 YAMAHA 4 STROKE I THINK ,ITS AWSOME.WHATS SAY WE FIND A STRAIGHT FLAT STRETCH WHERE WE CAN OPEN THEM UP SIDE BY SIDE YOUR 2001 MODIFIED MINE BONE STOCK? THAT WAY WE CAN REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE.THEN I WOULD BE SOLD ON WHAT I NEED TO DO TO MINE

 

My question about the White exhaust. Is it tunes with the clutching that your going to do to your bike? When I talked to Rick Ritter. He mentioned that you want to get the Pipe that is turned with the clutching kit. Is there really such a thing on 4 strokes? Or is he trying to sell me a HPD pipe? beings that what he sells. Just a thought
