hi i was wondering if someone could help me. i was out riding in the snow and i noticed that my right front tire didnt turn but i could see the cv boot was just spinning and making a clunking noise i know its broke so is it the drive shaft or the or CV joint sorry about the not so proper spelling im not to good at the period ? thing

 

Odd's are it's the cv joint. Could be the splines on the driveshaft too. You'll have to pull it apart to know for sure though.

I agree if you are going to work on your quad find a factory service manual on ebay

 

I agree with the others.... I had an issue with my 4 wheel and i took the rig apart and since then the 4 wheel kicks in and out on its own... the pins didnt get lined up aparently when i put it back together... so in my opinion .. instead of doing the job twice.. spend the extra bucks and make sure you have it done right the first time.
