awd light on but no 4x4

Default awd light on but no 4x4

if the awd light is on is that mean the power is in the front hub coil,and if the voltage is in the front coil hub why the 4x4 does not work,the fluid have been changed,need a answer please.

If the light is on that means the switch is turned on and it should go into 4x4 if the rear wheels start to slip.

thanks for the answer,if the atv is on a jack and I tried the 4x4 and is not working,do the atv has to be on the ground for 4x4 goes on

No, it should kick in even if it's up on jack stands. If it does kick in at high rpm it will blow up the hubs or cause other problems depending on the year and model.

Default awd light on but no 4x4

it did kick once at the low speed now nothing,switch on,fluid changed in the hubs,fluid changed in the front gear case,I don't know what else to try

i kind of have the same problem with mine. 07 EFI 800 deluxe. I was spinning on the ice in 2wd...something banged...now no AWD. I verified everything electrically according to the manual (12vdc from the switch...awd ohm reading...everything)

I have no clue where to start either

like Frankenstein says "Smoke Good,Fire Bad"..... the same thing with the Hilliard Locking Hub System..... "Tightness Good" "Looseness BAAADDD".....the three tangs on the armiture plate go in the grooves of the hilliard like 3/16".you get some play and the armiture plate spins usually scoring or destroying the hilliard....Game Over.....End Of Story!!!!! and oh yeah it can also take out the hub!!
