hi. the wrench is actuly a "service interval/diagnostic mode indacator

to get into the diagnostic mode:

1)turn key switch off and wait 10seconds
2)set park brake and shift the transmission to neutral
3)hold mode/reverse override button and turn key switch to on
4)release the switch as soon as the display is actived
the initial screen refers to software ver installed in your atv. this is displayed briefly.

use mode/reverse override button to toggle though the diagonstic screen.
screen
1)battery voltage
2)tach
3)awd diagnostic
this gauge indacates wether or not currnt is flowing though the awd coil. (only models with switchable awd)
4)gear circuit diagnostic
this displays the restance value (in ohms) being read at the gear input of the gauge.
5)programmable service interval
used to provide user and dealer for a rimder for routine maintenance. set a factory or dealer. can be reprogrammed in this mode.
6)mph/kph

wrench icon like ^^he stated is just for service and he has told you how too fix that. check the connections to make sure there not corroded and put dielectric grease in the connections. this would rule out elec. input. make sure the wires going to the awd housing are not broke. if there is no issue w/ the wires or speedo, it might be a broken roller cage in the front end housing.

if the speedo dont work, the 4 wheel drive wont work. since everything is controlled though that. the wheel sensor goes into the speedo, along with the awd switch wires.
