Hi All,

My wife has an 99 Trailblazer that just doesn't have the *guts* anymore for her. I installed an RCR pipe/clutch kit (spring) last year and that made her happy for a bit. I was thinking of RCR porting and a complete clutch packages along with a new piston/rings. Any have suggestions on what to do for more power and what brand to use? My wife has been preggo for the last 7 months but now that the time nears for the new baby she is really itching to get back out on the trails so I had better have it done before the little one arrives. Thanks a million

Do yourself a favore and install a Wiseco piston when you redo the top end. Longer lasting and lighter then stock, might give a small power increse.

I would go with the Wiseco piston, and add the complete HPD clutch kit. Just changing one spring doesn't do squat. I would also cut down the air intake snorkel on the air box, and add a Uni-Filter.
