Default moody 4x4 system?

i have a 2000 polaris 250 4x4 explorer and i use to feed our animals on our farm and to go muddin in the summer, but lately the 4wd wont kick in and im sol when i plow or am hauling food down to the animals...but when i take it home and let it set in the garage for a while and take it out to plow the 4x4 kicks in instantly, my uncle says(previous owner) that it being so cold its freezing right where the drive shafts reach the tire but they are spinning from the transfer case, also note my battery really sucks it holds enough charge to tell me if im in reverse or neutral need help fast havent plowed our farms driveway and had to wallk all the feed and water down to the animals lol its a real awakeing how much i depend on it

Default moody 4x4 system?

ill do that tommarow but wheres the hub fluid at in the t-case?(im 16 with not much experience in the whole atv dept.) i have another question about the front hubs, on the outside of the tire where polaris has its plastic part that says awd i took it off and some kind of fluid came gushing out i assumed it was transfer case oil but that would make nosense on how it would have gotten there..long story short i hurried up and put the plastic in the hub and put the screws in it.

The hub fluid is right in the hub...you pulled the cover off, what came out was hub fluid. Right on the side of the hub is the drain plug. Use this to drain/fill the hub, not the cover.

It's probably a good idea to drain both hubs and refill with polaris premuim hub lube. Remove the drain plug, spin wheel to 6 o'clock and let it drain. To refill, turn hub to 4 O'clock and fill, it doesn't take much. Don't over fill. Reinstall the drain plug. I like to flush the hubs with fresh fluid once a year
