Original outside diameter of nut is 25 mm,but cant remember thread pitch and shaft diameter. If dont have metric thread pitch tool that comes in tap and die set,THEN just wait for nut,Not worth screwing up at this point. Maybe some other posters can help. Good luck

Default Polaris Flywheel lock nut

I needed one on my 2000 trailblazer. Ive had it ordered at my local Polaris dealer now for going on two weeks and i still don't have it. I went to the hardware store, engine in hand, (it was off being rebuilt) and mine took a 16X1.5. My dealer told me that they didn't know the size and the guide doesn't tell them but sold me that and a recoil spring for 50.00...i paid .90 cents for the nut at my hardware store.

Not sure if they are the same or not but thats my story and im sticking to it.
