I found a 2000 500cc sportsman for sale with a blown piston for $1500 canadian. is that to much.

Would it be worth rebuilding and if so were is the best source for parts.

How much would the value be with rebiuld motor and machine gone through. i have the service manual for it.

A decent looking and running SP 500 in Canada for that year is about $3500. If you get her going like a camp for under $2000 your doing good.

I bought my 2001 three years ago with 120 Hr (1200 miles) for $5600 Canadian.

I would like to, but i dont think it would be worth it, im thinking i will spend more on it then its worth
It would be hard to sell if its only $3500 or so.
thats just my opinion. Unless the parts are a decent price.
